Purpose, your passionate interest(s) that brings joy to you and people around you, is the path to fulfilling your life’s meaning and ultimate value. Unfortunately in most cases, you utilize your analytical mind to make decisions rather than “giving credibility to your feelings and accepting their messages as valid.”
Why is it that most of us think of our hearts as an irresponsible force that is only looking for fun when it is the greatest tool to unlocking purpose?
1. Acknowledge: that your feelings contain messages. Being unhappy is an idea that begs for change. Your inner feelings, subconscious stream of thought, are always expressing how you really feel about something. Often times these feelings are expressing ideas that you may not yet be willing to accept.
2. Credibility: Give credibility to your feelings and accept their messages as valid Do you discount your feelings and try to rationalize “why” you feel a certain way?
A good example is boredom. Boredom is a syndrome in someone who is not passionate about their work. Rather than understanding this as a valid sign, people discount this sign and suggest that they may cure this syndrome by finding a new work environment. The same job in a different place is only a short term fix at best. Changing workplace locations or environments is not going to cure the fact that you are bored with the work itself; instead this thinking serves to prolong the syndrome rather than cure it.
3. Believe: Believe that your heart will lead you to a better way of life than your analytical mind. Recognizing and giving credibility to messages from your heart is a key step to happiness in all areas of your life.
4. Act: act upon the messages! If you act upon what you trust then it’s important to make the shift to trusting the messages that come from your heart just like you trust your analytical mind.
In becoming aware of the power of your mind we often believe our thoughts are the most powerful tools available to us. The area we often ignore are the words we choose in expressing ourselves to others as well as to the universe. If you begin to consider the following tip, it will help you manage the power of your mind in creating the reality that you desire.
Word Tip: Consider your words “audio” versions of your thoughts, give your words the same power as you do your thoughts, and consequently say what you really mean because the power of your words matches the power of your thoughts. Remember to utilize words for the reality you wish to create not to complain or identify dissatisfying aspects of your reality
3 Steps To Managing Your Words
1. Awareness: remember that your words can either nurture or stunt the development of your vision-reality. Manage them accordingly
2. Commitment: make the commitment to honor what it is you wish to create by choosing supportive and positive words
3. Follow Through: attempt to “think before you speak”; this is a great policy that will help to make sure your words are in alignment with what you wish to create. You will not be able to do this all of the time but try, before verbally communicating, to measure the power of your words

Claiming your new life is a process that is inspirational and challenging at the same time. One of the most useful and powerful tools to moving forward into your new life of change are affirmations.
An affirmation is a positive statement that claims a new reality.
Examples of my affirmations:
I am developing a powerful media organization.
I am representing a best selling author.
I am launching a firm with the mission of changing people’s lives.
1. Right now: Affirm that what you want to create is in the process of happening right now.
2. Believable: Balance what you want to create and where you are in the process. You must believe in your affirmations so design a statement that you believe you are achieving.
3. Specific, Exacting, Succinct: Visualize exactly what you are in the process of achieving down to the specific details of your new life.
4. Claim Responsibility: State your desires as yours to accept-doubt has no room here.
5. Live the Dream: Feel what you are affirming as if it already has come to life. Feel the exhilaration knowing you are stepping down your path of purpose.
